Solid State Drive Data Recovery Service

SSD data recovery is one of our priority specializations.
As technology advances, so does the hardware of hard drives. The technology behind solid state drives (SSD) has been around for a long time. An SSD drive is essentially is larger version of a USB Flash Drive.

Solid state drives:
Flash memory does not contain the spinning discs and moving mechanical parts of a traditional hard drive, so information is accessed much faster, and the combination of this speed with the increased storage capacity has made solid state drives a popular choice. They are faster, lighter and smaller than usual hard disk drives and therefore are becoming more popular, especially for laptops and portable devices. However, contrary to popular belief, solid state drives can still fail! It should be borne in mind that SSD failure often occurs unexpectedly, without prior signs that there is any kind of problem coming with the disk.

Solid State Drive data recovery:
SSD data recovery process is very different from an HDD. All solid state drives have multiple NAND memory chips, and the organization of the data on these chips is controlled by main processor chip and is called translation.

Data Service provides recovery services on a full range of solid state drives or NAND flash memory technologies for all models of laptops, notebooks and other types of storage.
As the technology behind solid state drives is still evolving, every SSD controller manufacturer is currently working to bring their own technology as industry standard. Hence, each manufacturer’s controller chip works slightly differently. There is bad news because of this situation: each manufacturer is trying to block access to the controller of the SSD disk so that competitors do not adopt the best practices in organizing the operation of SSD storage media, in other words – there are a fairly large number of SSD disk models, data from which can not be recovered at the current moment.
At Data Service Co. we are fully equipped with the most advanced SSD data recovery hardware and software at the moment. As with traditional hard drives, the recovery process differs depending on the type of failure. As part of a free diagnostic, our engineer will identify the problem and advise you on the cost of data recovery.

Causes of SSD drives failure :

SSD drive life average

10 years

for servers and professional storage systems

6-8 years

for laptop, desktop PC, or external drive

If you have an SSD drive failure, here are our tips to reduce permanent data loss:

Turn off the device immediately

Continuing to work may cause more damage

Do not turn on the computer or external SSD again

A miracle does not happen in this case, but rather the opposite.

Do not install any software or hardware

Do not use a self-recovery program to repair a damaged drive.

Do not disassemble it, it is impossible to detect visible causes of failure on the PCB.

At Data Service company we are equipped with professional SSD data recovery hardware and software. As with traditional hard disk drives, recovery price varies depending on the type of failure. How SSD technology works:

Traditional hard drives store data as a magnetized domains (rather than ones and zeros, as most people think), but solid state drives store data using positive and negative electrons, making it much more efficient. However, not everyone knows that flash memory has a limited lifespan (called the write lifespan). When a cell in flash memory is charged, the charge cycle actually damages the cell and over time the cells become unusable. Therefore, SSDs use built-in “wear-leveling” software that moves data across the disk to evenly distribute wear and tear. The bad news is, your SSD literally wears out in the end.

Deleted files and formatted partitions Solid State Drive data recovery:

Unlike standard hard drives that don’t actually delete files, they just mark the space as available, most TRIM-enabled SSDs do delete your files permanently. However, due to the layout of the flash memory, the controller chip cannot simply delete individual files, it must clear all cells in the block. Thus, the TRIM routine constantly monitors what has been removed and moves files around to ensure that good data is not removed from some blocks. The same happens when formatting an SSD. Even after quick formatting a TRIM SSD, it is often impossible to recover the data. Memory cells are cleared by the drive’s internal firmware.

Terms and Conditions

You only pay for the results you are satisfied with. Otherwise, you do not incur any financial costs.

After completing the order, we will definitely keep a duplicate of the recovered data until you make a backup copy of the recovered information at your place of use on an additional medium and notify us about it.

Order lead times are usually 2 to 5 business days. Urgent or emergency terms is available. The conditions of such orders are negotiated separately
